Rightside Routing

This Privacy Policy describes how Rightside Routing (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Rightside Routing mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Rightside Routing is a routing utility that records street addresses on the right side of the road while you travel, and lets you save, review, replay, print, and share those routes. It is not a turn-by-turn navigation app.

Precise location
If you start a live drive and grant permission, the App reads GPS coordinates, heading, speed, and accuracy from your device. Location is collected only while a live drive is running. If you grant Always, location can continue for that drive while the screen is locked or the App is in the background, so houses still log. Hard-closing the App stops recording. We do not track you when you are not recording.
Camera (optional)
If you use Lift to import an address list, the App reads camera frames on the device to extract street addresses. Those frames are processed on the phone. We do not upload Lift photos to our servers.
Motion / compass (optional)
If you grant motion permission, the App may use device heading to tell forward travel from reverse. This stays on the device.
Route content you create
Logged addresses, path points, drive names, notes, maps, and import codes you save. This data is stored on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
